Conversion rate with videos
I have been attending seminar after meeting after business group(s) as I am sure a lot of you are digging in and looking to see if there are any “better ideas” to get your internet traffic to convert with videos, to either a contact or sale. (Conversion from looker to customer)
I keep coming away with..interactive sites with video are getting a bigger conversion rate then an older plain sites-be it with an Avatar coming out on the screen, an infomercial or short website commercial. Giving the “quick run down or over view of One’s Website.” People would rather watch then read, I get it. I know when I have to assemble something I look at the pics and if I gotta read in parts I do just that. They even share hot tid-bits such as the stats that a button is better then a link or underlined hyperlink, type of font such as Tahoma-
Sex sells, let’s face it–those new shapeups are not spending a lot of time on the shoes. So I guess something pretty or appealing to the eye is what draws them in. To convert them to a client you either need to capture an email addy or close the sale. <---never say CLOSE or SALE for a conversion—use Proceed or Continue and Finalize or Confirm. If what I am sharing with you makes any sense I would love to hear about the crazy G rated stuff you went and saw or did or bought because of video conversion. (Ahh the Petrock…memories) LOL!
Here is my plug BTW Netcommercial does just that, we help you with your Motto-Slogan or message without making it one more thing to read. Video Conversion comes with Trust and Relationship-even on Ebay. Paypal creates trust for e-commerce, so the client will convert instead of abandoning the cart. Did you know, Studies show that sites featuring the Paypal insignia convert more at check out then those that do not?
How about a flash video for conversion on Pop-out? Which means if the consumer backs out instead of proceeding, because they closed their Browser your quick message comes up and delivers the message you want each client to get from your site?.. Just an idea as I am sure if it is not done at the time of this blog it will be shortly. Here is one other thing that may help. Does your “widget” show a picture of itself at check-out so the consumer can see it through the whole transaction? Pictures and Buttons are better then links- studies show-So why not keep them entranced till they actually finalize? The power of Conversion rate with videos.
